Description
Built as an all-analog preamp and overdrive pedal, the unit incorporates discrete Class-A JFET circuitry to reproduce the distinct overdrive behavior of a saturated low-wattage valve amp. Circuitry features an interactive gain structure governed by independent Gain, Treble, Bass, and Master Volume dials alongside an auxiliary control designed to refine presence and upper-frequency edge. Dual independent outputs route the signal through a high-impedance instrument jack for driving down-chain amplification or a dedicated speaker-voiced line out equipped with passive frequency filtering. Overdrive saturation reacts directly to incoming signal levels and playing dynamics, transitioning smoothly from pristine clean boost into thick, harmonic-rich overdrive. Signal paths are wired entirely without operational amplifiers to maintain uncompressed dynamic detail, high input headroom, and genuine valve-like transient response. Output voicing mirrors vintage low-power British studio amplifiers, making it versatile as a primary drive, tone-shaping preamp, or standalone direct recording interface.Media
