The Pastfx Nick James Foot Phaser is a collaboration with Nick James of Peril Pedals and is based upon the foxx Foot Phaser V1.
The foxx Foot Phaser is made famous by Brian May of Queen. Made in the 70’s, its treadle design allowed the Phase speed to be controlled by knob or treadle.
Foxx released several versions of the foot phaser with different number of phase stages and circuit design. However it is Version 1’s design that is most synonymous with Brian May.

The Nick James foot phaser requires considerable testing to find a set of 10 matching transistors. This involves testing thousands of transistors by hand, to get the perfect phase.

Thanks to the unique access provided by his long term tech, Pete Malandrone, the sound representing each decade has been meticulously modelled after the actual vintage equipment used by Brian May during each period of his stellar career - his dynamic, germanium Dallas Rangemaster from the 1970's, the orange label, silicon BC149 transistor powered booster installed on his pedal board throughout the 80's, and an original 1998 Greg Fryer strap booster. Every possible technical nuance of these contemporaneous processors has been analysed in order to recreate the original circuitry and realise an astonishingly authentic reproduction of their tonal responses and output profiles.

Um Halbtöne nach oben und unten … 12 nach oben und 12 nach unten. So einfach ist das. Die Pfeiltaste rechts erhöht die Tonhöhe um einen Halbton, die Pfeiltaste links senkt sie um einen Halbton. Das DISPLAY zeigt die Anzahl der Halbtöne in beide Richtungen an: (-)1 bis (-)12 und (+)1 bis (+)12. Die Latenzzeit bietet die schnellste Leistung aller derartigen Ein-Funktion-Pedale auf dem Markt. Etwa die HÄLFTE der gängigen ähnlichen Einzelpedale. Die Klanggestaltung wurde sorgfältig programmiert, sodass in der Tonhöhe oder Tonart veränderte Akkorde genauso klingen wie der unveränderte Akkordklang. Dieser praktische Ansatz ermöglicht es dem Nutzer, die Tonart digital zu wechseln, ohne dabei die klangliche Integrität beim Spielen des Hauptteils eines Songs wesentlich zu beeinträchtigen. Selbst bei schnellem Picking und Chugging der rechten Hand entsteht nicht das Gefühl, dass das Spiel aufgrund der Latenz hinterherhinkt, wie es bei anderen Pedalen der Fall ist. HINWEIS: Bei Soli sind gewisse digitale Artefakte unvermeidbar und hörbar, wie bei allen Tonhöhenmanipulatoren, doch der Klang bleibt dem Original treu. Zu den weiteren Funktionen gehören die MIX-Funktion, mit der sich jede Tonhöhe mit dem trockenen Signal mischen lässt, sowie die FAV-Funktion, mit der ein Lieblings-Preset gespeichert und über die FAV-Taste oder einen nicht rastenden Fußschalter aufgerufen werden kann. The CHUG CAPO is exactly what it says it is. A digital bi-directional Capo.
Just like a Capo, the thought process is familiar to any guitarist because it is linear like the fretboard.
Up & down by semitones…. 12 up & 12 down. That simple. The Arrow button to the right raise pitch by semitone and the Arrow button on the left drops the pitch by semitone. The DISPLAY shows the number of semitones in either direction: (-)1 thru (-)12 and (+)1 thru (+)12. The latency offers the fastest performance of any single function pedal like this in the market. Roughly HALF of popular similar single pedals. The voicing has been meticulously programmed so pitch/key changed CHORDS sound the same as an unaltered chord sound. This practical approach allows the user to digitally change keys with minimum compromise on sonic integrity for playing the body of a song. Fast tempo right hand picking and chugging won’t give the feel of your playing dragging behind due to latency like other pedals. This is the key advantage of the CHUG CAPO.
NOTE: For Solos, some digital artifact is unavoidable and audible as in all pitch manipulators, but the tone remains faithful to the source. Additional features include the MIX function which allows blending of any pitch with the dry signal and the FAV function which allows for one favorite preset to be save and accessible by the FAV button or non-latching footswitch. Inspired by the match-made-in-heaven of vintage effects found on 60s American amps, White Whale V2 sets out a new objective to pack bigger real spring reverb and tremolo sounds in the same pedalboard friendly enclosure (17 x 12,5 x 7,5 cm).

The 3-spring reverb tank assembly housed inside White Whale’s enclosure has remained the same, but we have upgraded the power amp driving the springs for increased headroom and wider frequency response. Following the signal topography of vintage units we have also upgraded the dwell control to allow you to dial the right amount of signal that goes into the springs for a mellower or splashier reverb sound. Real spring reverb found in 60s American tube amps and external reverb units featured a tube power amp driving the spring assembly via an output transformer, so we have delicately tuned an analog circuit to emulate the tube and output transformer saturation that was produced on higher dwell settings.

PC-2A Tube Compressor

The Klon Centaur is an overdrive pedal developed between 1990 and 1994 by Bill Finnegan and engineers at MIT. The pedal was made by Bill Finnegan, by hand, from 1994 to 20093, then reissued in 2012 with industrial manufacturing. This is one of the first "boutique" pedals. It quickly became very popular among guitarists and acquired a "legendary" status, selling for very high prices on the second-hand market. Several brands have created copies, or Klones, of the Klon Centaur.

Eines der ikonischsten Pedale unserer Zeit ist ohne Zweifel das Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face. Es wurde 1966 herausgebracht und erfreute sich schnell großer Beliebtheit bei vielen Musikern jener Zeit. Die erste Version verwendete Germaniumtransistoren, doch da diese zu schnell heiß wurden, stellte Dallas Arbiter um 1969 auf Siliziumtransistoren um.


One of the most iconic pedals of our time is with no doubt the Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face. It was issued in 1966 and was quickly favoured by many musicians of the era. The first version used germanium transistors, but due to them getting too hot too quick, Dallas Arbiter moved around 1969 to use silicon transistors.

The Harlot V3 is a hand-wired tube overdrive pedal using a single 12ax7 tube running at high voltage and a JFET transistor that is used to push the 12ax7 into overdrive. It covers mild, smooth tones through mid gain crunch to fairly aggressive rock tones. A second footswitch takes the Harlot into a higher gain mode which is great for increasing saturation and aggression for solo tones. The Harlot sounds natural, fat, dynamic and is very touch sensitive.

Der MF-103 12-Stage Phaser ist ein direkter Nachfahre der modularen Synthesizer von Moog und für die Verwendung mit jeder beliebigen Klangquelle ausgelegt. Dieses vollständig analoge Instrument ist der Heilige Gral der analogen Phasenmodulation und zaubert ultra-reichhaltige Sweeps, tiefe Wirbel, vokale Drehungen und Bi-Phase-Effekte.

Der von Bob Moog entworfene MF-103 besteht aus zwei vollständigen modularen Funktionen: einem 12-stufigen Phaser mit Resonanz, der eine perfekte Klangübertragung ermöglicht, und einem breitbandigen LFO, der sowohl ruhige Schwingungen und Anschwellungen als auch perkussive Perkolationen und vollständige Klangzerstörung erzeugen kann. The MF-103 12-Stage Phaser is a direct descendant of Moog modular synthesizers designed to work with any sound source. This all analog instrument is the holy grail of analog phase, conjuring ultra-rich sweeps, deep swirls, vocal gyrations and bi-phase effects.

Designed by Bob Moog, the MF-103 is comprised of two complete modular functions: a 12 stage phaser with resonance that allows for perfect tonal impartation and and a wide-range LFO capable of generating sedate surges and swells to percussive percolations and complete sonic destruction. To further expand on this classic modularity, the MF-103 contains multiple CV/Expression Pedal inputs and outputs. This allows each parameter to be manipulated and controlled simultaneously, while also providing modular interconnectivity between other Moogerfooger analog effects.
