DELAY
CHORUS
Description
Built as an electro-mechanical tape delay, the unit delivers authentic magnetic tape echo paired with an analog bucket-brigade device chorus and an analog spring reverb tank. Taking direct cues from classic Roland Space Echo architectures like the RE-201 and RE-501, the topology incorporates four discrete playback heads, including a designated sound-on-sound head. The front-end circuit utilizes a vintage-voiced FET preamplifier suitable for both instrument and line-level signals. Modern enhancements include an auto tape-stop circuit to minimize wear alongside remote control voltage connectivity for motor speed and feedback. Direct individual TRS outputs for each playback head allow external panning to create wide multi-tap ping-pong soundscapes. Balanced XLR input and output connections facilitate integration into professional studio setups and live signal chains.
